About the directory

Wharfe & Nidd Directory is a small, independent directory of local businesses, makers and community groups in the Wharfe and Nidd valleys.

It started as a simple idea: one tidy place to find a local tradesperson, a tutor, a club or a cafe, without wading through pages of adverts. The directory is in its launch phase, so the entries you see are illustrative while we test how everything fits together.

What we do

• Group local entries into a few clear categories.
• Show a short description and a way to make contact for each entry.
• Keep the site fast and free of third-party scripts.
